Missions

We support our denomination’s missionary effort  in many countries including, but not limited to, Congo, Japan, Taiwan, Columbia.

We also support individual missionaries who are connected to our congregation.  These missionaries serve in Thailand, Middle East, Brazil, and Indonesia.

Regionally we support educational work in Alaska, urban ministry in Los Angeles and our Pacific Northwest Conference as it starts new churches and supports established churches in Washington, Oregon and Montana.

Locally we support, and work with, ministries in the Shoreline area including: HopeLink, Jacob's Well [transitional housing for women and children], meals for a veteran housing facility, participation in a transitional housing program with a home we own, and we actively provide support to our local grade school.  In Seattle we support the work of Urban Impact.

Currently, 13% of our regular budget goes to missions.  In addition, during the year we have special offerings for world wide disaster relief  and special offerings for world and local projects.  Also, ministries within our congregation take on special mission projects.  For example, last year our Pioneer Clubs [[children's ministry] raised money for clean water in Congo.
