2-Ev’ry fear has no place, at the sound of your great name.  The enemy, he has to leave, at the sound of your great name.  CHORUS

1-Praise him all you sinners, sing O sing you weary.  O praise him all you children of God.

2-We lift high his glory, shown throughout our stories.  We praise him as the children of God.

CHORUS-Our Great Redeemer, Glorious Savior, your name is higher than the rising sun.  Light of the morning you shine forever.  Your name is higher than the rising sun.  Your name is higher than the rising sun.

HYMN #260                                                                            “And Can It Be”

1-And can it be that I should gain an interest in the Savior’s blood?  Died he for me, who caused his pain?  For me, who him to death pursued?  Amazing love, how can it be that thou, my God, should die for me? CHORUS- Amazing love, how can it be, that thou, my God, should die for me.

3-Long my imprisoned spirit lay, fast bound in sin and nature’s night.  Thine eye diffused a quickening ray, I woke, the dungeon flamed with light!  My chains fell off my heart was free, I rose, went forth, and followed thee.  CHORUS

4-No condemnation now I dread, Jesus, and all in him, is mine.  Alive in him, my living Head, and clothed in righteousness divine.  Bold I approach th’eternal throne and claim the crown, through Christ my own.  CHORUS

When I was lost you came and rescued me, reached down into the pit and lifted me, O Lord, such love, I was as far from you as I could be.  O you know all the things I’ve ever done, but Jesus’ blood has cancelled every one.  O Lord, such grace to qualify me as your own.  CHORUS-There is a new, song, in my mouth, there is a deep, cry, in my heart, a hymn of praise, to, Almighty God, alleluia.  And now I stand, firm, on this Rock, my life is hidden now with Christ in God.  The old has gone, and, the new has come, alleluia.  Your love has lifted me.
