CALL TO WORSHIP                     “Come to the Light”               Voices of Praise

The whole world was lost in the darkness of sin; like sunshine at noonday His glory shone in.  Come to the Light, tis shining for thee, once I was blind, but now I see. The Light of the world is Jesus.  Ye dwellers in darkness with sin-blinded eyes, go wash at His bidding and light will arise.  Oh, will you come to the Light, tis shining for thee? Once I was blind but now I see. The Light of the world is Jesus!

PRAYER

HYMN #325                                                “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”

1-All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name!  Let angels prostrate fall.  Bring forth the royal diadem and crown him Lord of all.  Bring forth the royal diadem and crown him Lord of all.

2-Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race, ye ransomed from the fall, hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all.  Hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all.

3-Let every kindred, every tribe on this terrestrial ball, to him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all.  To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all.

4-All that with yonder sacred throng, we at his feet may fall. We’ll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.  We’ll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.

Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Harken unto the voice of my cry, my King and my God.  For unto Thee will I pray, my voice shalt Thou hear In the morning.  O Lord in the morning will I direct my prayer Unto Thee and will look up. (repeat)

O Lord in the morning will I direct my prayer unto Thee and will look up.

2-Purify my heart, cleanse me from within and make me holy. Purify my heart,  cleanse me from my sin, deep within.  CHORUS

Hymn #77                                                                     “Be Still My Soul”

1-Be still, my soul, the Lord is on thy side.  Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.  Leave to thy God to order and provide.  In every change he faithful will remain.  Be still, my soul, thy best, thy heavenly friend, through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

3-Be still, my soul, the hour is hastening on, when we shall be forever with the Lord.  When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone, sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.  Be still, my soul, when change and tears are past, all safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

FROM THE WORD                   “Staying Alive”                Psalm 119:33-40

1-Over all the earth, you reign on high; every mountain stream, every sunset sky.  But my one request, Lord my only aim, is that you reign in me again.  CHORUS-Lord, reign in me, reign in your pow’r, over all my dreams, in my darkest hour.  You are the Lord of all I am, so won’t you reign in me again.

2-Over every thought, over every word, may my life reflect the beauty of my Lord.  You mean more to me than any earthly thing, so won’t you reign in me again.  CHORUS
