HYMN #                                                     “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”

1-All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name!  Let angels prostrate fall.  Bring forth the royal diadem and crown him Lord of all.  Bring forth the royal diadem and crown him Lord of all.

2-Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race, ye ransomed from the fall, hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all.  Hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all.

3-Let every kindred, every tribe on this terrestrial ball, to him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all.  To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all.

4-All that with yonder sacred throng, we at his feet may fall. We’ll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.  We’ll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.

HYMN                                                       “O For A Thousand Tongues to Sing”

1-O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise, the glories of my God and King, the triumphs of his grace.

2-My gracious Master and my God, assist me to proclaim, to spread thro’ all the earth abroad the honors of your name.

4-He breaks the pow’r of cancelled sin, he sets the pris’ner free; his blood can make the foulest clean, his blood availed for me.

5-To God all glory, praise and love be now and ever giv’n, by saints below and saints above, the church in earth and heav’n.

FROM THE WORD                                                     Acts 2:1-13

PRAISE IS RISING

1-Praise is rising, eyes are turning to you.  We turn to you.  Hope is stirring, hearts are yearning for you.  We long for you.  When we see you we find strength to face the day.  In your presence all our fears are washed away, washed away.

Hosanna, hosanna, you are the God who saves us.  Worthy of all our praises.  Hosanna, hosanna, come have your way among us.  We welcome you here, Lord Jesus.

2-Hear the sound of hearts returning to you, we turn to you.  In your kingdom broken lives are made new, you make us new.  When we see you we find strength to face the day.  In your presence all our fears are washed away, washed away.

RETURNING OF TITHES AND GIVING OF OFFERINGS

1-Did you feel the mountains tremble? Did you hear the oceans roar? When the people rose to sing of Jesus Christ, the risen One?

2-Did you feel the people tremble? Did you hear the singers roar? When the lost began to sing of Jesus Christ, the saving One?

And we can see that, God, you’re moving, a mighty river through the nations; and young and old will turn to Jesus.  Fling wide, you heavenly gates; prepare the way of the risen Lord.

CHORUS-Open up the doors. Let the music play.  Let the streets        resound with singing: songs that bring Your hope, songs that bring Your joy, dancers who dance upon injustice.

3-Do you feel the darkness tremble? When all the saints join in one song, and all the streams flow as one river to wash away our brokenness?

And here we see that, God, you’re moving; a time of jubilee is coming, when young and old return to Jesus.  Fling wide, you heavenly gates; prepare the way of the risen Lord.

Children Kindergarten-3rd grade are invited to Junior Church.
