Wednesday Family Nights are a time to hang out, eat, play, sing, and learn. Families are encouraged to attend together for kids in elementary school; youth in middle/high school are welcome to come on their own and hang out at the youth table with our youth ministry leaders (or often meet separately in the youth portable).
The sanctuary is open from 6-6:30pm to eat, talk, and play (BYO dinner, though we do have occasional pizza nights!). From 6:30-7:30pm, we have a program including group games, singing, and learning.
WFNs are currently meeting intermittently throughout the month. For the most up-to-date info on meeting dates, check our FB/Insta pages, or sign up for our weekly e-newsletter.
Check back in 2022 for updates about summer kids’ programs! We hope to bring back more in-person opportunities in summer 2022!
Please note: JAM’N and Junior Church are temporarily paused due to some staffing changes and volunteer health needs. We hope to resume them shortly. Nursery care is still available during Sunday worship for infants – age 5. Families with older children who need space for their kids to wiggle are welcome to use family tables in the sanctuary, the entryway area (with a TV streaming the service), or the playroom with an adult present.
JAM’N is our Sunday morning kids’ time for kindergarten-6th grade, meeting during the adult Sunday School hour (Sept-May, 9-9:50am). JAM’N is an acronym for “Jesus and Me and…”–whomever you want to invite to join us as we read the Bible to discover what we believe, why we believe it, and how we should go about sharing the awesomeness of Jesus with others. JAM’N involves joyous, rocking music, art, drama, science, multimedia, Bible stories, praying together, puppets, and, of course, donuts!
Offered for children, birth-age 4, during our Sunday School hour (Sept-May, 9-9:50) and our worship service (year-round, 10-11:15am). Our nurseries are staffed by caring and nurturing volunteers from our congregation, all of whom undergo background checks and are fully vaccinated.
Jr. Church is for kids, kindergarten-2nd grade, and offers age-appropriate Bible lessons during Sunday morning worship (year-round, 10-11:15am). Children attend the first part of the service with their families, and are invited to Jr. Church prior to the sermon. Parents then pick up their children in room 5 after the service concludes. All volunteers undergo background checks and are fully vaccinated.
