Serving Our Community & World

We gather not just for ourselves, but to go out to both serve and to learn from our local and global neighbors, knowing we are all deeply loved by the same God.

Little Free Pantry

Our Little Free Pantry on N. 185th St. addresses the real food need in our community. We appreciate any donations (you can drop off in the church foyer or directly in the pantry).

If you find yourself in need of supplemental food, please feel welcome to stop by and utilize the pantry!

Echo Lake Elementary School

SCC is privileged to partner with our neighborhood elementary school in many ways, including:

Ronald Commons (Compass Housing Alliance)

SCC has the privilege of partnering with Ronald United Methodist Church to support the Ronald Commons housing and community resource facility. Volunteers serve with Ronald Commons Cafe; work in the community garden; swirl cotton candy at the Ronald Commons block party; and more. Click the button below to learn more about Ronald Commons!

Vision House

SCC, along with many other area churches and business, has been a long-time supporter of Vision House Shoreline, which provides housing, childcare, case support, and more for homeless families in Shoreline. Click the button below to learn more about Vision House!

And More!

SCC members engage with Shoreline and the greater Seattle area in many ways—attending racial justice workshops, supporting equity scholarships, packing apples with Sharing the Harvest, hosting neighborhood cleanups and more. We’re committed to Jesus’s call to love our neighbors and invite you to join us!

SCC actively supports, financially & relationally, global partners ranging from Los Angeles to Alaska, and southeast Asia to the Middle East. Click on the buttons below to visit our partners’ websites and learn more about how God is at work through them!
