SCC Little Free Pantry
Our Little Free Pantry standing outside our main church doors on N. 185th St. has been meeting a real food need in our community. We appreciate any donations of non-refrigerated food, as well as pet food, water, and small hand sanitizers. You can drop donations in the church foyer. And if you find yourself in need of supplemental food, please feel welcome to stop by and utilize the pantry!

Volunteers help serve with Ronald Commons Cafe; join workdays for the community garden; staff booths at the Ronald Commons block party; and more. Whether you can join in the prep or not, you are always invited to join us for a delicious and hearty meal (free; donations accepted)! Occasional other opportunities to serve with Ronald Commons include the annual summer Ronald Commons block party.

SCC women’s “sleep-out” to raise money and awareness for Vision House Shoreline
SCC, along with many other area churches and business, has been a long-time supporter of Vision House Shoreline (also known as Jacob’s Well), which provides housing, childcare, case support, and more for homeless families in Shoreline.

SCC runners at the Free Them 5K
SCC members, as part of the church and/or individually, engage with the Shoreline and the broader Seattle metro communities in numerous other ways. Some examples include: service days at Mary’s Place; collecting hygiene supplies and making quilts for Elizabeth Gregory Home; delivering food from local grocery stores to the Hopelink food bank; participating in local workshops/classes to learn more about racism and racial justice in our community; running in the World Concern Free Them 5K to raise funds for fighting human trafficking; serving the King County Jail Ministry; and more. We care deeply about Jesus’s call to love our neighbor, and we would love to have you join us in this work. Please contact the office for more information about any of the above (or to share a new idea)!
SCC actively supports, financially and relationally, global partners from several different regions, ranging from southeast Asia to the Middle East.
Within the U.S., SCC partners with ministries all along the west coast, ranging from Los Angeles to Alaska! These ministries include:
*Urban Impact (www.urbanimpactseattle.org)
*Redeemer Community Partnership (www.redeemercp.org)
*Alaska Christian College (www.alaskacc.edu)
