Our focus this month is PEACE. Join us for worship at 10am on each of the Sundays of Advent (12/3, 12/10, 12/17, and 12/24) as we sing, pray, and study peace while anticipating the coming celebration of Jesus’ birth.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship is on Sunday 12/24 at 5pm. There is no childcare provided, but children of all ages are welcome in worship with their families. There is also space in the entryway and nursery rooms for those who need to wiggle, and the service livestream will be viewable.
All youth are invited for dinner and a search for Seattle’s best Christmas lights! Bring $15 for dinner (let Brianne know if that would be a barrier and we can cover your dinner). Please RSVP to be sure we have enough seats in vehicles!
Women ages 50+ are invited to enjoy a potluck brunch, gift exchange, and time of fellowship! Bring a small wrapped gift if you’d like to participate in the gift exchange.
Were the Brat Pack or Home Alone defining cinematic parts of your childhood? Or do you just identify with gen X or millenials at heart? Come to our Xennial Christmas party! Chili and toppings provided, bring a side or dessert to share. Childcare available with RSVP; email the church office.
In lieu of our regular Wednesday night programming, we are having an all-church party on Dec. 20! All ages will gather together for dinner, singing, games, and general merriment.
Join us after worship on Sunday 12/10 to shop for baked goods, handmade goods, Christmas decor, and more. Or purchase raffle tickets for a beautiful handmade Christmas quilt! All proceeds go to support the Ushauri Initiative, a youth mentoring program in Kenya.
Our annual giving tree is up and stockings are ready to be filled! Grab a stocking and tag, fill for the child noted on the tag, and return to SCC by Dec. 17. Stockings will be delivered to Vision House families the week before Christmas. We are also collecting Fred Meyer gift cards ($25 cards, please) for Ronald Commons, so families can shop for their own children’s stockings; please deliver cards to the church office by Sunday 12/10.
